Who writes this

I am Daniel Reyes. For six years I worked events at the castle on Dufferin Street: set the hall, timed doors, walked the service aisle during the tournament. This guide is the briefing I used to give friends.

I live in Toronto. The day job is unrelated. The operator does not pay me to keep this site, and they did not ask for it. That is the point of an independent visitor guide.

I do not sell tickets. I do not take cards. I do not run ads on these pages. If a page somewhere else tries to charge you while using my name, it is not me.

What this is for

Operator sites are good at the sale. They are less good at saying: it is loud, the food is simple, Saturday is a zoo, drinks cost arena money, and you will eat with your hands. I would rather you know that before you dress for a quiet dinner.

Photographs of Exhibition Place and Dufferin are from Toronto. Tournament pictures on other pages are live jousts of the same format, credited to their photographers, because I will not pretend a stock illustration of a cartoon castle is the hall.

If a practical detail here goes stale, write me. I update on slow mornings.
